Girls can do any-thing programme led by Chair of chairs, Collen Makhubela was an exciting way to uplift women around the City of Johannesburg. It was planned to encourage women, honour them and give them an understanding that they can do anything. Collen Makhubela being a woman who has achieved so much for herself made the programme even more interesting. She spoke on many topics, one that fascinated me the most was the topic of becoming a World-class Citizen.
Collen Makhubela stated that being a world-class citizen meant that We as the people of Johannesburg had to do away with crime, littering, and drugs and we should respect ourselves and the city we live in. She stated time and time again about the importance of taking care of the city and its people. She also spoke about the representation of women during the Women's Day event.
