Do nothing in a Crisis

This topic for me is a very insightful one because I recently had a conflict or rather a very big argument with one of my father's tenants and this got me into thinking about crisis. I kept on asking myself continuously that if communicating with the tenant was the right thing to do. Was saying something in the first place worth it? Let's unpack why saying or doing nothing in a crisis can be helpful?

When faced with a crisis, our natural instinct is often to take action immediately. We feel a strong desire to do something, anything, that might help alleviate the situation.
